Breakthrough Fast 2022 Day 12

Turningpoint   -

Day 12 Friday January 14

Today we are praying to pull down the wall of rebellion against God and resistance to His kingdom and laws. We are praying for God to raise up godly leaders in our city, county, and state governments who will establish and shape policies than honor God.

We should take time to thank God for the SCOTUS ruling that the present vaccine mandate is unconstitutional. This ruling effects about 80 million working people. We must continue to pray for God to move by His spirit on all levels of government.

We begin our reading today with the declaration, Yours (God) is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and earth is His. Yours is the kingdom oh Lord and You are exalted as head over all.

We began praying, “Our Father who art in heaven,” and today we are, “praying Thine is the kingdom.” Everything we do is to be sandwiched in prayer between the revelation of God our Father who resides in heaven and the unmitigated authority of His kingdom.

The Lord God is the righteous judge of our Kingdom. The Lord God is the Law of our Kingdom. The Lord God is the King of our Kingdom, and He will save us.

We pray to the King of our Kingdom in the court room of His Kingdom that we might know and understand that His authority is without equal. We stand before Him to know and honor His will as we seek to do advance His Kingdom in our lives and our world. There is no authority greater than, equal to, or competitive with God.

Our reading ends with praise around the throne of the King of the Kingdom a group of 10,000 x 10,000 and 1000’s of 1000’s. I am not sure this is meant to be a number but a representation of something beyond his imagination but if it were a number. I believe this would be the formula. (10^8)(10^6) = 10^14 , which would be: 100,000,000,000,000, One hundred Trillion! I could be wrong but I did it just for fun. They sang worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power, riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. Then every created being in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth joined in singing blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be to Him who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Just close your eyes and imagine being in that throng and don’t forget that the Father knows your name.

I don’t know if we understand the effect of the saints praying the declarations of God and praising God for them. The willful and consistent praise of God by those who follow Him attracts nothing less than an awesome and mind-blowing presence and unjust measures by those who oppose God and His kingdom. Never forget that there is battle in the heavens that plays out on earth.

What do you think is going on when we are commanded by God and compelled by His goodness to praise Him yet ordered by mere men to cease this practice because of the danger of Covid? I would offer a simple suggestion that our prayer and praise hinders the work of darkness. If that is the case our response should be Sing a little Louder! Sing a little Longer! Amen!

When we praise God at all times and in all situations, we join the great company around the throne of God and find strength we have never know possible. This is when heaven touches earth and the impossible becomes possible

The question for us is, what have we allow to compromise our prayer and praise and what should we do about that?

Declare it like you are there before God’s throne in heaven with the living creatures and elders, “THINE is the KINGDOM, and the POWER, and the GLORY FOREVER!”
