Breakthrough Fast 2022 Day 17

Turningpoint   -

Day 17 Wednesday January 19

Today we petition God for spiritual protection from the wicked forces of evil that desire to rob us of our promise, destroy our relationship with God and each other, and bring the demise of spiritual and physical death upon us.

God has promised us over and over that He is our unshakeable and immovable rock on which we are invited to stand. We also are promised that God is our high tower and shelter in our times of trouble and that the shadow of His presence provides us impenetrable protection. We are safe and secure from all harm in His presence. This is the safest and most protected place we could ever be.

The psalmist echoes Samuel and adds when the pangs of death surround me, and the floods of ungodliness make me afraid. When the sorrows of hell entwine me, and the snares of death confront me. The scripture is so incredibly relevant. This sounds eerily like our present times. The Lord is constant with me in all my distress I cry out to the Lord and He hears me from His temple.

Never forget that just before Jesus greatest miracles He would say, “I thank You Father that You hear my prayers.” The key is for God to hear our prayers. We have to believe that God desires to hear us or we will not pray.

Heb 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him [God]: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently Seek him. KJV

We are promised that God does hear our prayers because of Jesus blood. Feed your spirit on the reality that God hears your prayers and if He hears He is ready to act on your behalf to redeem you and save you from all harm. Come on somebody, I should be able to hear you from my house, Amen Hallelujah!!

When we are under assault it is not retreat but an advance of the most powerful kind that we seek to be in the very presence of God from whose presence all our enemies natural and supernatural flee. Is there any wonder we are encouraged to pray and seek the face of God who is our ever-present help in our times of need?

We are instructed that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of the strongholds erected in our heart and mind by the enemy to enslave us with fear and doubt. This great weapon of protection cast down any and every imagination or argument that raises or exalts itself against the overwhelming and victorious knowledge of God and has the power to bring our every thought or imagination into complete obedience of Christ [the living word of God] who is our victory through faith put into practice [rest].

What an incredible PROTECTION we are afforded when seek to live in the shadow of the almighty and run into His strong tower in times of trouble. Rejoice today in the GLORIOUS PROTECTION of PRAYER.
